The Variations of Plagiarism Spectrum

      Plagiarism is a form of theft. According from a website poorvucenter.yale.edu (n.d.), Plagiarism came from a latin word which means "Kidnapper". Plagiarism happens when someone copies another idea completely and takes it as their own without acknowledgement. Plagiarism is shown in different forms and has also different variations. Some people use plagiarism due to the convenience of it and laziness while some people think that some of these types are paraphrasing and may end up using these variations unintentionally.        According to Ms. Laarni Cabanig's (2023) powerpoint presentation and according to the presentation from the website Turnitin.com (n.d) about the topic, there are 10 types of plagiarism which are the clone, ctrl+c, find-replace, remix, recycle, hybrid, mashup, 404 error, aggregator, and the re-tweet.
