James and the Giant Peach Event

We Asianista's went to SM Seaside at city to watch a stage show called "James and the Giant Peach".  Before the stage show started, we had a prayer. The kids performing during the prayer were like angels, they looked so cute as they performed. After that we had a flag ceremony, the national anthem and the principal had her speech about the stageplay. There were disney characters performing on stage after our principal has spoken. Like Elsa, Anna, Ariel, Rapunzel, Aladdin, Jasmine and more! It was nice and entertaining. The cosplayers really looked similar to the characters which makes it interesting and impressive!

After all of that, the stage play of James and the Giant Peach Started. It started with James being happy being with his mom and dad. At first his life was happy but then something happened. His mom and dad died, because they were eaten by a rhino. So James had to live with his mean aunts that were abusing. James felt very sad about his life. But then suddenly there was a girl that fell down from the sky with an umbrella that was going to change James life. She magically gave James a giant peach and said that this giant peach will make his life happy and better. James did not believe at first. The mean aunt's saw the peach and they both thinked that this peach will make them rich for it was the most gigantic peach in the whole world, leaving James outside to guard it. As he was guarding it he suddenly sees a huge hole and crawled through it. He saw insects inside the peach singing harmoniously. The insects saw James and they became friends. The centipede cuts the stem of the peach and it rolls away to the Atlantic Ocean. James remembered his dream about going to New York City. So he decided to go with them and the insects decided to go there too. James and his insect friends travelled around different places that were unique and after all that adventure, he finally found the place he has been looking for. He wished his parents were with him but that would never happen. He finally gets to live happily with his new family and lived happily ever after. That's the story of the stageplay.

So the story as said from the speech from the principal was all about love, friendship and adventure/traveling to different places. What I learn is that you should not give up even through the circumtances you are going through. So after the stage show me and my friends to take pictures of the three main characters. Then I went to kfc to eat dinner with my grade 6 friends and after we went back to our homes. Thats all!
